“I felt nothing and it was such a glorious experience. I didn’t feel anxiety, depression, or out of place.”
That was Comedian Tiffany Jenkins first experience with alcohol. Years later, her addiction brought her to a desperate place where she prayed for death.
Later, diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Depression, Mild Schizophrenia, and Bipolar Disorder, her inability to cope with these underlying issues kept her stuck in addiction for years. It ultimately took an intervention by the police to realize the patterns that weren’t serving her and find help. After attending treatment and finding a beautiful life of sobriety, Tiffany got pregnant while living in a sober living home and was married five months later.
